3D-printed dentures are the future!
With the improvement of living standards, denture customers have higher and higher requirements for dentures, traditional denture technology long time, has high technical requirements, and high cost, while 3D printed dentures short time, relatively low technical requirements and cost, high comfort, so 3D printed dentures will gradually become the mainstream of denture market.
The 3D printing denture procedure is: the technician draws a virtual model in the computer through a scanner, then designs the denture, and after completion, transfers the data to the 3D printer. Based on the denture model made, the nozzle in the 3D printer sprays a liquid resin material onto the printing plate, solidifies it through light, and then slides the printed plate continuously on the model for "sculpting" molding.
The printed resin mold needs to be embedded casting. The female and male molds are made by the instrument, and then the resin model is burned with fire to form a cavity, and then the cavity is filled with a metal solution, and a metal denture is formed after cooling.
Next, the metal dentures are applied to porcelain, then dyed according to the color of the patient's other teeth, and the final step is to install them.
The biggest advantage of 3D printed dentures is high precision, and no need to polish over and over again afterward, which can reduce the pain of people who install dentures. It only takes about 4 hours to print a fixed tooth.
