Temporary Crown Meaning:
A temporary crown is a temporary full crown that is temporarily bonded to the patient's mouth after the preparation of the crown restoration and before the final crown restoration is completed, and the patient cannot take it at will.
Temporary Crown Material:
Acrylic can be used for long-term temporary repairs, in situ in the patient's mouth for up to six months. TEMP provisional restorations can be fabricated entirely anatomically or with conventional resin veneers for crowns and bridges. They are suitable for checking fit and functionality of the actual restoration prior to completion, thereby increasing acceptance of try-in. Crowns and bridges of up to 14 units can be fabricated using TEMP. Implant restorations can also be used for custom, esthetic gingival reshaping.
